Nickelodeon Storyboarding Class | 2024
Autumn was selected from a competitive pool of applicants to enroll in a DePaul University class co-taught by two directors from Nickelodeon Animation. Using a pre-existing script from Kamp Koral, Autumn created a storyboard in the style of the show. Script by Luke Brookshier. Set design and characters belong to Nickelodeon Animation.
Illustration Work | "Invented Poses"
Early on in the program, students in the Nickelodeon Storyboarding class studied the designs of the SpongeBob cast using official sketches drawn by Nickelodeon board artists. Once students were familiar with drawing these designs, they were then tasked with "inventing" poses and scenarios for the characters to be in. This was meant to help students warm up their character acting skills and prepare them to adapt their script. These are Autumn's drawings of Patrick, SpongeBob, and Squidward.
The Spider and The Moth | Class Assignment | 2024
A lonely spider reunites with a friend who he thought he lost. Created as a final assignment for Storyboarding 3 at DePaul University. Characters and boards by Autumn English.
Perfect Casting | Senior Capstone Film | 2024
Perfect Casting is a multi-award-winning film that has screened in several film festivals across North America, including at the Ottawa International Animation Festival's Salon des Refusés. This is one scene from the film. Script, characters, and boards by Autumn English.

A Lot Like Comedy | 2025 - Present
These beat boards were created for the YouTube web series, A Lot Like Comedy. In each episode, comedians Michael and Lisa Hendel are challenged to create a full short film in one week based on one random prompt. Lisa and Michael document their experiences developing and filming their shorts in each episode, and this includes the screenwriting and pitching process. These beat boards were created by Autumn English to help each comedian visually describe the plot / important scenes in their skits.
"I'm Not Afraid Of The Dark" Collaboration | 2024
A storyboard of an animation segment assigned to Autumn English for the "I'm Not Afraid Of The Dark" Multi-Animator Project on YouTube. All characters, sets, and props were designed and belong to Daria Cohen. Final, animated visuals created by Autumn English.
